In the unlikely event that something does go wrong with your product, Stonekor will stand by you and work to correct the problem. The first thing you should do is contact the Stonekor warranty department to file a claim. You will need to provide them with such information as the engine serial number, the machine serial number, and the proof of purchase. Once the claim has been received, you will be directed to the proper service organization based on your location and the problem you are having. The service organization will arrange an on site visit or specify where you should take your product. A service technician will perform the necessary diagnostics and then contact Stonekor to acquire the necessary replacement parts. An RGA number will be faxed to you. While you still work from the back of the room to the front, you work in a straight line and make sure you overlap your polishing paths by approximately one third of the machine width. How often you will need to apply a polish is determined by the amount of traffic the floor has.
What is the maintenance for a concrete floor? Taking care of your floor properly ensures you keep it shiny, clean and beautiful. It is a good idea to sweep with a dust mop or vacuum the area at least two times a week. When you mop the floor, you should use a light detergent (such as Dawn) at a ratio of one capful to every gallon of water. Once you are finished mopping, clean off any cleaning product residue that may remain with a clean cloth or a sponge damp with water. Any spills you encounter should be cleaned up as soon as possible to lessen damage to the floor. You should never use bleach for clean-up as it causes the breaking down of the sealer or polish. You should also avoid using acid based products such as vinegar or ammonia. Stay away from abrasive cleaning cloths such as SOS pads because of the damage they can do to the floor surface. Harsh cleaning detergents (such as Comet or Mop&Glo) will dull the surface and leave “scuff” marks on your floor.
